We use a UE Boom Box 2 in our apartment every day to listen to music, and we take it with us wherever we travel. It is small and compact, easy to use, and you can crank up your favorite beats while preparing any meal while on the road. When the radio does not work or support bluetooth in the campervan, we use our box to drive with cool tunes.
We could not live without our noise canceling headphones. They are great for flights. It cancels the noise of the airplane, as well as babies crying. Plus, you get to hear a good quality sound for those in-flight movies. Jen uses her headphones daily. She loves to do tasks while listening to music that helps her concentrate.
Before we had this organizer, Jen would freak out when she looked for a cable in her backpack or if a wire got entangled with other stuff. We now wrap our cables neatly with velcro and put them in this very cool bag. Jen is a happy camper ever since.
This camera clip allows you to release the weight of your camera from your neck or shoulders. Yvonne wears it on the hip belt of her backpack during hikes. That way, she always has her camera handy, even when hiking with poles.
In the time we have had this power bank, it has never run out of juice. We use this to keep most of our electronics charged.
We use this case to store our extra SD cards. We use SD cards for our DSLR camera and GoPro. This case makes sure the cards are protected from dust, hard impacts. Oh, and it's waterproof!
This Canon model is the best hobby DSLR camera out there and the best Canon has built in a long time. Very easy to use, super sharp images and great manual functionality, should you wish to use it. At the same time the body is still very compact and travel friendly. Yvonne started using Canon DSLRs about ten years ago with the 500D (Rebel T1i) and the 77D is the most recent edition she is using happily.
This Zoom Lens by Canon offers high quality for a fair price. It is a hobby photographers lens and absolutely fulfills its purpose. Yvonne uses it mostly to capture wildlife.
This is the perfect standard lens for your Canon DSLR body. It has wide-angle for beautiful landscape shots and enough zoom for everyday moments. Yvonne uses this lens for over five years now and interchanges it with the Zoom Lens when necessary.
This little device is key, should you still use headphones with cables. You can roll the cable up without a hassle and avoid knots. It is super soft silicone and doesn't take much space. Jen has two in green and gray.
This little piece plastic (multi-use 😉) is the best thing Jen has discovered in the past years. It is so trivial and yet life-changing. A phone holder for airplanes or long bus/train rides. Simply hook your phone with all four corners and use the Velcro strip on the seat in front of you. No more neck pain or stiff hands from holding the phone, while watching a movie.
SanDisk is Yvonne's preferred choice, when it comes to SD cards. She has any size, from 8 GB to 64 GB and prefers to swap cards during a trip, in case one gets lost or stolen, so at least not all pictures are gone. They last for years and have a super fast processing speed.
