Jen got her pair of these shoes in 2018 and has not worn any other shoes ever since. Her converse and vans are gathering dust. She just loves them so much. This is Yvonne's backpack. She uses it daily to go to work and takes it with her everywhere we travel. It is perfect for biking, hiking, and exploring cities. It has a rain cover included in a pocket that is at the bottom of the backpack. Yvonne loves Deuter, and she thinks they make the best backpacks in the world.
Again, another item that we use daily and take with use wherever we travel to. Buff has so many variations of scarfs, it is really hard not to buy all of them! You can use them as scarfs, beanies or head bands. This is the warm version with 1/3 of fleece fabric.
We have the 3L version of this bladder since 2014. We have taken it up volcanoes, down the Grand Canyon and pretty much anywhere we are active. I personally love the dust protection on the nozzle. It is very easy to clean. Oh, and during long drives, when Yvonne is napping, I can easily access it and drink from it without having to wake her up.
These are Jen's outdoorsy shoes and they are real allrounders. Whenever we have a hike in mind, she takes these shoes. The tip of the shoes are tough, so no matter how many times she trips on rocks while walking, she never gets hurt 😉.
These are Yvonne's hiking boots. Whenever we plan to hike somewhere, she takes these boots with her. They are light enough to also suit warm climates and sturdy enough to support full day hikes.
Jen got these socks to use on transatlantic flights, and she loves them. She puts them on in the plane as soon as she is in her seat. The socks help the circulation flow and avoid landing with puffy legs.
These shoes are perfect for kayaking or any water sport. We have used them for a river walk, and they were terrific. They are quite cheap and the quality, in our opinion, is good.
This towel is of very high quality. It is soft, absorbs very fast and dries even faster. The L size packs up to about 15,5 x 6,5 cm (6 x 2.5 in) and weighs 150g (5.3 oz).
These Falke socks are the TK5 women's version, which are super thin and light. They provide great comfort and support during light and hot hikes, regardless whether you are wearing boots or sneakers. We loved them in the hot deserts of the Southwest in the US.
These Falke Stabilizing socks are amazing for uneven terrain. Whether you are wearing shoes without ankle support or would like that extra stability, these socks give it to you. They are very snug and give you a great sense of extra support. Jen usually wears them with her Salomon.
These Falke TK2 Hiking Socks are the typical hiking sock, with medium thickness and very high level of comfort. These are Yvonne's second pair already after having bought the first one over ten years ago. They are great for longer and tougher hikes.
We love our Leki hiking poles and we use them for longer, more strenuous hikes with a high altitude change. These poles are super lightweight (468 g / 1 lb) and have a speed lock system that allows you to adjust the length in seconds. We have used them in the Southwest of the US, the Swiss Alps and on Kilimanjaro.
This is the summer version of our favorite buff. It is super thin and light, with a cooling effect and includes UPF and insect protection. Perfect for those hot days in humid areas or to protect you from dust. We also like to wear it while taking a spin on our road bikes.
